Heavy-Duty Truck Driver
Responsible for safely operating heavy-duty freight trucks across demanding regional routes in Somalia and East Africa. Ensures cargo integrity, performs routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintains strict compliance with safety regulations and transit schedules.
Key Requirements:
- Valid commercial heavy vehicle driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 5 years of long-haul or cross-border driving experience
- Strong knowledge of regional routes, border procedures, and vehicle maintenance
- Commitment to punctuality, road safety, and professional client communication
Fleet Maintenance Mechanic
Performs rigorous preventive maintenance, diagnostic testing, and major mechanical repairs on our heavy-duty truck fleet. Ensures all vehicles meet optimal safety standards before deployment across East African transport corridors.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in diesel mechanics, automotive engineering, or related field
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience maintaining heavy commercial trucks and trailers
- Expertise in diesel engine diagnostics, electrical systems, and hydraulic repairs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accurate maintenance logs
Logistics Dispatch Coordinator
Manages day-to-day shipment routing, real-time GPS tracking, and active communication between drivers, customs agents, and clients. Resolves transit bottlenecks and ensures seamless coordination across multi-modal delivery channels.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
- Minimum 3 years of experience in freight dispatching, supply chain coordination, or customer service
- Exceptional organizational skills with proficiency in digital tracking systems and MS Office
- Bilingual proficiency in Somali and English with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
